My song recommendation for your playlist Heather is ‘I Won’t Back Down’ originally by Tom Petty, but not that version - the version by Johnny Cash. His voice has so much power in it - he adds layers and depth to that song. Sending all my love and prayers x

Praying with in spirit with you this week (conspiring with the Spirit, as I like to think of it). Three rather different playlist options for your old musician friend: REO Speedwagon's "Keep Pushin'", Bob Mould's "See A Little Light", and The Grateful Dead's "Eyes of the World" (and not just any version--youtube search "grateful dead eyes of the world branford marsalis"--that night was in orbit). All love.

There's a great "newish" group called We the Kingdom. Two of their songs in particular are "Child of Love" and "Holy Water".

Here is my current workout playlist.

If you just want to chill, you can't go wrong with " The Gene Ammons Story: Gentle Jug"

Heather, I’m old school and still love Elvis Presley’s gospel singing. I think “I Believe in the Man in the Sky” is a great one. Upbeat tune and great lyrics - “if my footsteps should falter...”

Praying for you, and Dave, and kids. Sending love ❤️ Virginia

Heather I am still praying for you daily and pray God has a plan. You are a beautiful person that is fighting the fight. Try to stay strong and I pray God's will be done. I don't have a particular song to add to your list but it definitely needs to be soothing and uplifting.

Heather, there is my absolute favorite choral piece. It's a Christmas piece (technically), but who says we can't marvel over the Incarnation in May?! https://youtu.be/nn5ken3RJBo Also, you can't beat Andrea Bocelli singing the Lord's Prayer. https://youtu.be/u8jImIjg4UY

Dear Heather, thank you for your blog. I am adding you and family to my daily walking to work prayer list!

This is my favourite song I picked up during my time in the USA, living with my African American best friend!

I've really enjoyed some of the music of Alan Doyle, Newfoundlander, as music that often embodies a kind of fire for life. He also has beautiful ballads, but here are a couple of the upbeat songs I like: My Day, So Let's Go, Shine On, Close to the Sun, Summer Summer Night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ8xhwUl6IE

Pink Floyd - Fat Old Sun,

Grateful Dead - Ripple,

Otis Redding - Sit-in by the Dock of Bay,
