Heather, Jamie just told me about this blog and about what you are going through. I just wanted to tell you how much you are on my mind, how sorry I am for this painful trial, and how I will pray for you as you come to mind. You are a beautiful and funny writer, up there with the best of them who make art out of life. I am always baffled by the things that come up in life--there are so many---and it stretches our theology into new shapes. God be with you. Rosie de Rosset
Heather, You are in my prayers. I wish I could make you some cookies and help with daily tasks! As I go about mine, I will be thinking of you and praying. It is certainly not the least we can do. We come to a gracious Heavenly Father who hears and answers prayers! 💗
Thank you for writing and sharing your journey, Heather. We are praying for you. Cling to hope, hold on to your wonderful sense of humour. I am praying God will fully heal and restore. I love the yellow shoes and hope to get my own this summer when in the UK again - I love the idea of them as prayer shoes. A panda tattoo, huh?! Wonder if you're enjoying New Amsterdam as I am...? Much love xx
I'm a friend of Deb's and unfortunately know exactly what you're going through. Your combination of humor, confusion, joy and grief is familiar. For what it's worth, the radiation to my spine was SO helpful and I have no pain anymore. Please contact me if you'd like to connect. It can be a very isolating disease. I'm sending eviction vibes to the cancer, and healing and peace to you. <3
Praying for you at the scan today, thank you for the update- you have such a beautiful way with words and articulating this journey. Much love, Becky and Gideon xxx
Prayed for you this morning on my walk. You are such a gifted writer, and while I hate that you have to go through this experience, I am blessed by your words.
Praying for you, Heather. Thank you for sharing your journey. Cheering you on here in Chicago!

Been praying for you today since about 4am CT, knowing it's scan day. Thinking of you all, even the doggies. Big hugs from Iowa.
